Gift Aid Information for Donors

St Pancras Church is a charity, Charity number: 1133802. 

This means that through the Gift Aid Scheme we can can claim from the UK government an extra 25p for every £1 you give. It will not cost you any extra.

Does My Donation Qualify for Gift Aid?

For your gift to qualify for Gift Aid you must be a UK taxpayer who pays sufficient income tax or capital gains tax in a tax year to cover your Gift Aid donations in that year.  â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹Your donations will qualify for Gift Aid as long as they are not more than four times what you pay in tax in that tax year (6 April to 5 April).

You must also agree to Gift Aid being claimed on your donation.

The donation portal in our website includes a checkbox for your  to make the necessary declaration and request.

Multiple Donations - Past and Future

You can include all donations to St Pancras Church from the last 4 years in your Gift Aid declaration and you can include all donations you may make in the future in your Gift Aid declaration (until you tell us to stop).

You need to tell us about any tax years when you did not pay enough tax for donations in that year to be eligible for Gift Aid.

Higher-Rate Tax Payers

If you’re a higher-rate taxpayer you may be able to claim back the difference between the tax you’ve paid on the donation and what the charity got back when you fill in your Self Assessment tax return.
