Biographies:
Zixin Chen is a pianist specializing in collaborative performance, currently pursuing studies in Piano Accompaniment at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. She previously trained in Musicology at Fujian Normal University, a national talent training base in China.
As an active performer, she has appeared in a variety of concerts and projects. Notable engagements include Songs at Six: French and Spanish Operetta at Milton Court (2024), Science Music with the FSC Guildhall New Music Society, and Voiceworks at her college’s internal venue (2025). In these projects, she has collaborated closely with singers and fellow musicians, bringing vitality and sensitivity to her role as a piano collaborator.
Her artistry has been recognized in international competitions. She was awarded Second Prize in the Youth Group at the J.S. Bach International Music Open Competition (2023) and received the Gold Award in the 20th–21st Century Music Category from London Young Musicians.
With her diverse training and passion for ensemble work, Zixin Chen continues to develop as a versatile collaborative pianist, committed to exploring both classical traditions and contemporary repertoire.
