Biography:
Yiqiao began her musical education in her hometown of Dalian, China, studying with Lu Wang. Later on, she continued her training in Shenyang with Professor Fang Zhang and Hong Zhang at the Middle School Attached to Shenyang Conservatory of Music.
Yiqiao has also had the opportunity to perform in masterclasses for several esteemed pianists, including Vitaly Pisarenko, Jeffrey Cohen, Pavlina Dokovska, and Graham Scott. Her playing was met with high praise and encouragement, further inspiring her artistic growth. Since September 2024, Yiqiao has been a student with scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she studies under Professor Joanna MacGregor CBE.
In addition to her solo studies, Yiqiao frequently collaborates with violinists and clarinetists. She also has a keen interest in piano duet repertoire, performing both four-hand and two-piano works.
