Biographies:

Vusala Babayeva was born in Azerbaijan in 1997. She is the recipient of the Presidential Scholarship. She is currently studying for Master of Performance Degree with Professor Dinara Klinton at the Royal College of Music in London. Vusala is a Talent Unlimited UK Artist.

Commencing her piano education in 2003 with Ayisha Aliyeva at the School-studio of Baku Music Academy, Vusala studied her Bachelor’s degree with Professor Ogtay Abasguliyev and Professor Narmina Guliyeva from 2014 to 2018, and Master’s degree from 2018 to 2020, graduating with Distinction.

Vusala Babayeva has been a laureate in numerous republic and international competitions across various countries, including Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Czech Republic, Turkey, Georgia and more.

In 2012, Vusala Babayeva was awarded with a special Scholarship from the President of Azerbaijan and her name was included in the “Golden Book” of Young Talents. She has been awarded with scholarship for masterclasses and concerts at the Bavarian Music Academy Hammelburg, Germany, from 2012 to 2014.

Vusala has taken part in masterclasses by renowned piano masters such as Piotr Paleczny, Oxana Yablonskaya, Ewa Poblocka, Andreas Frolich, Tomislav Baynov, Hubert Rutkowski, and etc. In 2017, she received the "Youth Prize" from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Republic.

From 2020 to 2022, Vusala Babayeva has been an accompanist in the Vocal, Brass, and Woodwind faculties, and as a piano teacher at the School-studio department at Baku Music Academy.

Vusala has performed solo recitals at the International Mugham Center during the X International Uzeyir Hajibeyli Music Festival and at the XII International Gabala Music Festival. She is a frequent soloist with the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra and Baku Chamber Orchestra.
