Biography
Qianchen Yu was born in China in 1999. She was first taught by Professor Wu Yan of Harbin Normal University at the age of five. From 2010 to 2022,She has been studying under the tutorship of Piano Professor, Doctoral Supervisor and Steinwayartist You Xi of Central Conservatory of Music. During this period, She won many awards in important piano competitions in Heilongjiang, such as the 11th, the 13thXinghai Cup, the 3rd Kawai., the 2nd Little Peach and Plum, the Golden Bell Award and the Pearl River Caesarburg Competition. From 2008 to 2010, she played piano inHarbin Education Bureau Middle School Student Orchestra, during which she participated in the special performance for the 55th anniversary of Harbin Children's Palace 1955-2010 and the 30th China Summer Concert Harbin Middle School Student Orchestra Symphony Concert for many times.
In 2011, Qianchen was admitted to the sixth grade of the primary school attached to the Central Conservatory of Music. In 2012, she was admitted to the middle school attached to the Central Conservatory of Music. During this period, she participated in the series of musical instrument performances for many times and won the second prize of the Helen Cup group of high school students in 2015.
In 2015, Qianchen was invited to participate in a series of performances in Harbin Concert Hall, and in 2016, she was invited to participate in the 33rd China Exhibition. Harbin Summer Concert. In 2018, she was admitted to the Piano Department of Central Conservatory of Music as an undergraduate.
In 2019, she was invited by Children's Palace of Harbin Education Bureau to participate in the New Year Concert of Harbin Children's Palace Little Snow Flower Symphony Orchestra in 2020, and cooperated with the orchestra in the piano concerto of the fourth movement of the Yellow River to defend the Yellow River.
From 2015 to 2020, she served as the project leader and activity planner of the Beijing International Chamber Music Festival.
At present, she is studying of a Master degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, studying with Noriko Ogawa and Laura Robert.
