Phillips Academy’s Chamber Choir and Orchestra
The choir (also known as “The Fidelio Ensemble”) is a an auditioned mixed a cappella choir . Fidelio’s repertoire ranges from Renaissance and Baroque, to classical and contemporary, including arrangements of popular music and the most challenging music of our time by living composers. Fidelio performs throughout the academic year both on and off Phillips Academy’s campus. Recent concerts on tour include China, San Francisco, Carnegie Hall and Portugal. Fidelio’s members hail from every corner of the world and are between the ages of 14-18. Singers in Fidelio have demonstrated commitment and leadership in Phillips Academy’s choral program and are some of the top leaders in Andover’s musical community.
The Academy's Orchestra will perform pieces and accompany the choir.
